Elvis
Presley
never
kept
his
foot
on
their
land.
But
according
to
reports,
the
king
of
rock
'n
roll
did
pay
a
secret
visit
to
Great
Britain.
It
has
been
believed
that
Presley's
visit
to
Scotland
was
his
sole
trip
in
the
UK.
But
according
to
theatre
tycoon
Bill
Kenwright,
Elvis,
then
23,
visited
his
pal
Tommy
Steele
in
1958.
"Elvis
flew
in
for
a
day
and
Tommy
showed
him
round
London.
He
showed
him
the
Houses
of
Parliament
and
spent
the
day
with
him," The
Sun
quoted
him,
as
saying.
