Liam Gallagher hits out at Coldplay

Washington (ANI): Oasis band member Liam Gallagher has hit out at Brit rock band Coldplay, saying: "I don't give a s**t about them." Although Chris Martin's Coldplay is much popular in America as compared to Oasis, Gallagher is adamant that his band is far more superior.

"I don't give a s**t about Coldplay. We are the coolest band and we are the best f**king band. We are the most important band. We may not be the biggest band in America but who would want that?" Contactmusic quoted Liam, as telling Loaded magazine. The 'Wonderwall' hitmaker blamed his band's gloomy demeanor for its inadequate American popularity.

"We aren't as big as we could be in America because of our attitudes. We're miserable. The main reason is they obviously don't like us. But a lot of people over there do like us. We sold out Madison Square Garden in a minute and we tour there for a long time," Liam said.

"But they don't buy our records. But America is not the be all and end all for Oasis. America is a country in a f**king very big world, so if they don't like us, somewhere else will," he added.
