Janet Jackson hospitalised; cancels concert

Washington (ANI): Singer Janet Jackson has been admitted to hospital after she fell ill hours before her scheduled concert in Montreal, Canada. The 42-year-old singer got suddenly ill during a sound check and had to ultimately cancel her performance due on September 29.

The R&B superstar was to take the stage as part of the 'Rock Witchu tour' - her first in seven years, reports Contactmusic. According to a statement released by W&W Public Relations, the star is under doctor's observation at a nearby hospital

However, no further details of the singer's current condition have been issued until now.
