New
York
(ANI):
She
will
soon
be
turning
40,
but
Mariah
Carey
has
ruled
out
any
possibility
of
having
a
kid,
for
she
thinks
that
she
cannot
properly
educate
a
kid
at
present.
In
the
British
version
of
OK!
Magazine,
the
singer
told
a
reporter
that
she
doesn't
aspire
to
become
a
mother
right
now.
"It's
hard
to
have
kids
in
this
world.
I
don't
think
I
could
properly
educate
a
child
right
now.
Maybe
in
the
future,
but
I
actually
haven't
thought
about
it," the
New
York
Daily
News
quoted
her,
as
saying.
In
fact,
she
said
that
having
children
would
leave
her
feeling
"violated...I
know
that's
a
kind
of
weird
thing
to
say,
but
that's
how
I
am."
She
added:
"For
now
I
enjoy
my
dog
Jack's
company.
It's
definitely
because
of
childhood
traumatic
stuff.
The
whole
not
wanting
to
have
a
baby
as
a
baby."
Currently
Carey
is
in
London
to
promote
a
new
album,
and
has
confessed
spending
a
lot
of
time
babying
herself.
And
of
her
extravagant
demands
at
Claridge's,
where
she
is
staying
in
London,
she
said:
"You
gotta
take
care
of
yourself.
You
have
to
try
and
stay
pretty,
you
know."
