Macca finally asks Nancy Shevell to move in with him

London (ANI): 'Beatles' legend Sir Paul McCartney has finally asked American heiress Nancy Shevell to move in with him permanently at his sprawling Peasmarsh estate. The move, which comes just five months after he divorced Heather Mills, had McCartney seeking the blessings of his four-year-old daughter Beatrice with Mills, before asking Shevell to live with him.

This will not be the first time for Shevell, 47, as she has been spending nearly every weekend at the East Sussex home, which McCartney had bought as a wedding gift for first wife Linda in 1969. Besides his youngest daughter, the 'No More Lonely Nights' singer also got the blessings of his fashion designer daughter Stella, 37, who also urged him not to rush into marriage.

"Paul and Nancy are as solid a couple as you can get after just a short time together," the Sun quoted a family friend as saying. "She always seemed to be at Peasmarsh anyway so it made sense to him just to ask her to move in. She'll still travel between here and America but is setting up home with Paul. He asked Beatrice if she liked Nancy and got a resounding 'Yes', which meant the world to him," the friend added.

McCartney has been romancing Shevell since last November, when he was in the middle of his divorce battle with Mills.
