(ANI):
English
pop
singer
Melanie
Brown,
33,
believes
that
she
can
never
be
as
successful
as
the
Spice
Girls.
Mel
B,
as
she
is
famously
known,
has
been
going
solo
ever
since
the
band
members
went
their
separate
ways.
According
to
her,
she
has
realised
that
being
in
a
group
of
five
made
it
easier
to
perform
than
doing
it
alone.
"I
could
never
be
as
successful
as
the
Spice
Girls
-
there
were
five
of
us
in
that
group,
and
alone
you
can
only
do
so
much.
But
it's
nice
to
be
able
to
have
a
go," the
Mirror
quoted
her
as
saying.
"I'll
have
a
new
album
out
by
January.
I
don't
get
nervous
about
how
it
will
do
or
feel
pressure
to
have
massive
success.
I
believe
in
what
I
do
and
if
people
like
it,
great,
and
if
they
don't
then,
whatever.
"The
highlight
of
my
career
was
the
girls
coming
back
together
and
deciding
to
do
a
goodbye
tour.
It
was
all
done
on
our
terms
and
it
was
us
coming
full
circle,"
she
said.
For
Mel
B,
the
last
tour
the
band
had
was
the
best
as
it
brought
back
good
memories,
and
even
though
it
meant
the
end
of
the
band,
she
is
not
sad
as
she
is
still
contact
with
them.
"I'm
close
to
all
of
the
girls,
we've
known
each
other
for
14
years
and
when
you've
been
on
that
kind
of
a
roller
coaster
with
four
other
girls,
there's
always
going
to
be
that
connection,"
she
added.
