London
(ANI):
Paul
Potts,
who
won
'Britain's
Got
Talent'
last
year,
has
now
become
a
sensation
in
Germany,
after
ads
of
his
first
audition
for
the
show
made
rounds
of
phones
in
the
country.
The
37-year-old
Opera
sensation
scored
the
top
spot
in
German
charts,
as
well
as
in
20
other
countries
with
his
album
'One
Chance'.
The
advert
for
phone
giant
Telekom,
shows
Potts's
first
audition
for
the
ITV1
show,
when
he
nervously
performed
in
front
of
judges
Simon
Cowell,
Amanda
Holden
and
Piers
Morgan.
When
he
walked
to
the
stage
for
his
audition,
Amanda
asked:
What
are
you
here
for
today,
Paul?" and
he
replied:
"To
sing
opera."
But
the
bored-looking
judges
were
smitten
by
his
staggering
rendition
of
Nessun
Dorma.
The
ad
shows
the
public
watching
his
audition
on
their
mobile
phones
and
laptops.
"The
ad
only
launched
last
month,
and
it's
been
a
massive
hit.
The
Germans
can't
get
enough
of
Paul," The
sun
quoted
a
source,
as
saying.
Paul's
next
album
is
set
to
be
released
at
Christmas.
