Washington (ANI): Rihanna has cancelled a show in Indonesia over
security concerns - just a day before she was set to take the
stage. The Umbrella singer was scheduled to perform in front of a
sold-out crowd in the Indonesian capital Jakarta on Nov 14, but
cancelled the gig amid concerns about her safety.
The Bajan beauty's decision to axe the gig came in line with
Aussie government's travel advisory issued on Nov 10, which warned
its citizens to avoid Indonesia. The warning was issued amid fears
of revenge attacks after three Islamic militants were executed for
their involvement in the 2002 Bali bombings. However, event
organisers are hopeful that the singer would return to the city in
January (09), reports Contactmusic.
