London
(ANI):
'American
Idol'
judge
Simon
Cowell
has
recounted
his
teenage
years,
revealing
that
he
felt
suicidal
when
he
was
younger.
In
a
recent
interview
with
Parade
magazine,
Cowell
confessed
that
he
was
on
the
brink
of
killing
himself
as
a
teen
because
he
was
fed-up
with
the
rules
or
discipline.
"I
was
always
bored.
I
didn't
like
the
rules
and
I
didn't
like
discipline," the
Mirror
quoted
him,
as
saying.
"So
when
someone
said
to
me,
'These
are
the
best
days
of
your
life',
I
actually
thought
about
jumping
off
a
bridge.
"So
I
would
feel
guilty
about
giving
people
fake
hope
when
they
have
no
hope.
"I
was
like,
'If
it
gets
any
worse
than
this
I'm
done',
because
I
hated
school
and
I
hated
my
life," he
added.
