London
(ANI):
Veteran
singer
Tom
Jones
has
joined
hands
with
the
record
producers
behind
Amy
Winehouse's
success
to
record
his
comeback
album
-
after
15
years.
The
68-year-old
singer
hopes
to
release
his
album,
called
24
Hours,
later
this
year
after
spending
studio
time
with
British
production
duo
Future
Cat.
"Amy
Winehouse
cracked
it.
When
that
album
(Back
To
Black)
came
out,
my
son
called
me
right
away
and
said,
''You
know
what
we've
been
talking
about?
Listen
to
this," The
Sun
quoted
him,
as
saying.
Tom,
who
reckons
his
new
album
will
give
him
the
leverage
he
needs
in
the
US
charts.
"The
hits
that
I've
had
recently
have
all
been
European,"
he
said.
"I've
had
a
lot
of
success
worldwide,
which
is
a
pain
because
I
live
here
and
I
do
most
of
my
shows
in
America...
Hopefully
this
will
straighten
that
out,"
he
added.
