London
(ANI):
Simon
Cowell,
the
man
behind
'The
X
Factor" and
'Britain"s
Got
Talent",
is
all
set
to
launch
another
'major
entertainment
format'
on
terrestrial
television.
According
to
sources,
after
months
of
planning,
the
new
show
will
be
a
'year-round
platform'
allowing
his
artistes,
such
as
Leona
Lewis
and
Alexandra
Burke,
to
perform
regularly
on
television.
A
leading
producer
revealed
the
TV
mogul"s
ambitious
plans
exclusively
to
the
Sunday
express.
“This
is
the
first
time
Cowell"s
production
company
Syco
has
entered
into
what
we
call
a
third-party
contract," The
Daily
Express
quoted
the
producer
as
saying.
“Normally
they
will
only
do
shows
where
they
own
the
format,
such
as
Britain"s
Got
Talent
or
The
X
Factor.
But
this
one
is
different,
and
it"s
a
goldmine,"
he
added.
Sources
denied
that
Simon
had
signed
a
deal
to
make
The
National
lottery
show
for
BBC1.
