London
(ANI):
Britain's
Got
Talent
star
Faryl
Smith
has
teamed
up
with
late
opera
great
Luciano
Pavarotti
for
a
duet.
The
Italian
tenor's
vocals
have
been
added
to
a
recording
of
'O
Holy
Night" by
the
14-year-old
schoolgirl,
thanks
to
computer
wizards.
Producers
now
hope
the
recording
will
help
super-sized
maestro,
who
died
from
cancer
in
2007,
make
a
posthumous
appearance
at
the
top
of
the
Christmas
charts.
"Faryl
is
thrilled
-
she
never
thought
she'd
get
the
chance
to
sing
with
Pavarotti
and
now
she
has," the
Sun
quoted
a
source
as
saying.
"The
technology
is
note-perfect
and
it
sounds
as
if
they're
really
there
together,"
the
source
added.
The
track
has
been
added
to
the
teenager's
new
album
'Wonderland",
which
is
tipped
to
go
head
to
head
with
Il
Divo
and
X
Factor
runner-up
Rhydian
Roberts
for
the
No1
spot.
"X
Factor
has
been
Christmas
No1
for
years
and
it
will
take
something
really
special
to
challenge
it,
but
this
could
be
it,"
the
source
said.
"Pavarotti
was
a
huge
name
and
Faryl
is
a
rising
star.
It's
a
perfect
combination,"
the
source
added.
