Noel Gallagher’s stage attacker pleads guilty

London (ANI): The man, who allegedly injured Noel Gallagher at an Oasis concert in Canada last year (08), has pleaded guilty to an assault charge. Daniel Sullivan tackled Gallagher onstage at Toronto's V Festival in September (08), which left him with three broken ribs.

During a hearing at the Ontario Court of Justice on Friday, the attacker admitted assault causing bodily harm, reports the Toronto Sun. "Sullivan managed to make his way up to the main stage area, run past the electrical chords set up along the stage, pass the drum kit and lunge toward Noel Gallagher, shoving him violently from behind with great force," the Daily Star quoted attorney Ruth Neilson as reading an agreed statement of facts to the court.

Neilson narrated how Sullivan also tried to take down frontman Liam Gallagher, but he couldn"t succeed as security hauled him offstage, where he was arrested. The court heard that Sullivan could not recall how he stormed the stage as he was intoxicated at the time. A sentencing hearing is scheduled to take place on February 5 (10).
