London (ANI): A posthumous star for the late Beatle George Harrison was unveiled yesterday on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. The event was attended by hundreds of fans and friends including Paul McCartney. Harrison's star was unveiled in front of the Capitol Records building as McCartney, one of only two surviving Beatles, looked on.

Also present were Harrison's widow, Olivia, Harrison's son, Dhani, musicians Tom Petty and Jeff Lynne and actor Tom Hanks, reports The Telegraph. Harrison died of cancer in 2001. He already shares a Walk of Fame star with all four of the Beatles, but only he and John Lennon, who died in 1980, will have their own stars.
