Even Homer Simpson is Susan Boyle's fan
London (ANI): Susan Boyle became a worldwide sensation after appearing on Britain's Got Talent and now her global fame has reached a new level with a mention on The Simpsons. Although she will not appear as a character - an accolade granted only to former Prime Minister Tony Blair and international superstars like Michael Jackson, Ringo Starr, Elton John and Paul McCartney - she is to be namechecked by family patriarch Homer during the show's 20th anniversary season.
In the episode, titled Springfield's Got Talent, Homer admits he is a fan of Susan, reports the Scotsman. He is seen sitting in front of judge Simon Cowell at auditions for the talent show.
Asked to identify himself, Homer replies: "My name is Homer Simpson, I'm 39 years old and, well, I've never been kissed. My dream is to be a great singer like Susan Boyle."
