Lady GaGa's "Just Dance" tops UK chart

London (ANI): Hip New York singer Lady GaGa has knocked X Factor champion Alexandra Burke off the top of the UK singles chart.

The US pop singer - real name Stefani Germanotta - leaps to number one this week with her debut single ''Just Dance'', reports BBC.

James Morrison and Nelly Furtado climb to two with ''Broken Strings'', while Burke falls to three with her version of ''Hallelujah''.

Meanwhile, Kings of Leon have ended Take That's five-week reign over the UK albums chart.

The Nashville band''s ''Only By The Night'' LP, which debuted at number one in September, returns to the top this week, forcing Take That''s ''The Circus'' into second place.
