Pal denies John Mayer-Jessica Simpson reunion

Washington (ANI): After Nick Lachey denied speculations of getting back with his ex-wife Jessica Simpson, a reunion between her and ex-boyfriend John Mayer has also been denied by the latter"s pal.

Mayer"s pal Rob Dyrdek, 35, star of MTV"s Fantasy Factory, revealed at Ryan Scheckler"s X Games Celebrity Skins Classic" in Coto De Caza, Calif., that the two were not getting back together. “Absolutely not," People magazine quoted him as saying.

Mayer and Simpson had dated on-and-off for about a year before splitting in 2007, and Dyrdek says he “wouldn"t rule out" a reunion. “I"m just saying I don"t think so," he added.

Earlier this month, Mayer found himself in the middle of Simpson"s break-up with her boyfriend of a year and a half, Tony Romo, when reports surfaced that he had been texting the pop star. In May, a source revealed that the two “have been in touch".
