London,
(ANI):
Sir
Paul
McCartney
has
said
that
it
was
like
returning
to
his
training
ground
when
he
performed
in
Hamburg,
the
German
city
where
he
first
exploded
on
to
the
pop
scene
with
the
Beatles
nearly
five
decades
ago.
As
part
of
his
Good
Evening
Europe
tour,
the
star
played
in
the
city
with
back-to-back
shows
which
pushed
him,
and
the
three
other
Beatles,
to
their
limits
in
the
band's
early
days.
''Starting
the
tour
here
was
actually
suggested
to
me
by
my
promoter," the
Telegraph
quoted
him
as
saying.
''I
like
the
idea
very
much
of
opening
in
Hamburg
as
it
echoes
the
opening
of
my
career
with
The
Beatles.
“I
like
the
idea
of
going
back
to
a
city
that
I
have
such
fond
memories
of.
This
is
my
chance
to
bring
our
current
show
home
to
where
it
all
began,''
he
added.
