MJ's Thriller enters National Film Registry

Washington, (ANI): Michael Jackson's 1983 video for 'Thriller' has made it into the National Film Registry. The famed video is among the 25 motion pictures that have been selected this year for preservation by Librarian of Congress James H. Billington, reports Discovery News. Others added to the list include the 1911 silent film Little Nemo, 1995's Scratch and Crow, the 1957 sci-fi classic 'The Incredible Shrinking Man' and 1979's The Muppet Movie.

The total number of films in the registry is now 525. The Librarian of Congress selects 25 films and videos to add to the registry each year. The complete list of 2009 selections appears below.
