Miley Cyrus' Just Breathe tattoo tribute to dead pal
International

Washington
(ANI):
Teen
sensation
Miley
Cyrus
has
got
a
tattoo
inked
on
her
chest
in
memory
of
a
friend
who
died
at
a
young
age
of
cystic
fibrosis.
The
'Hannah
Montana'
star
has
paid
tribute
to
her
pal
Vanessa,
who
died
at
the
tender
age
of
12,
by
having
the
Cystic
Fibrosis
Foundation's
motto
'Just
Breathe'
tattooed
below
her
left
breast.
Cyrus
had
previously
thanked
fellow
Disney
star
Nick
Jonas
of
the
Jonas
Brothers
for
helping
her
deal
with
the
tragedy,
which
occurred
in
2007,
reports
Contactmusic.
However,
the
tattoo
tribute
has
brought
about
its
own
controversy
-
several
commentators
are
speculating
whether
the
17-year-old
star
broke
the
law
with
the
body
art.
US
legislation
prohibits
tattoos
for
the
under-18s
-
but
some
states
allow
younger
teens
to
have
body
art
if
they
have
written
consent
from
their
parents.
