Ronnie Wood jailed for assaulting girlfriend Ekaterina

'Rolling Stone' guitarist Ronnie Wood was arrested on the suspicion of assaulting his Russian girlfriend Ekaterina Ivanova. According to Surrey police, he spent last night in police cells and was released shortly after lunchtime on police bailing pending further inquiries.

The 62-year-old Wood allegedly busted up with Ekaterina Ivanova in Claygate, Esher. He slapped the former waitress and pulled her hair outside a restaurant at 11.30 pm. A restaurant worker dialled 999 and police later detained the guitarist at home on suspicion of assault and took him to Staines police station, reports Mirror.

It is said that their neighbours had heard a screaming match at their rented house in north London. So Ronnie Wood was questioned by police over these claims in September. However, he was divorced by long suffering model wife Jo on grounds of adultery at the High Court last month.
