Susan Boyle called Retarded by TV Presenter

London (ANI): A TV presenter has come under fire for calling Britain"s Got Talent star Susan Boyle “retarded".Former BBC man Paul Henry had said the singer was starved of oxygen at birth, on New Zealand TV"s Breakfast Show.

However, his co-host Pippa Wetzell immediately slammed the presenter for his insensitive comment. She said: “That is not funny. That"s awful. She"s had such a tragic life that woman." As for popularity, Boyle is much ahead of Henry, reports the Daily Express. Henry"s show has 120,000 viewers a day, while Boyle"s debut CD sold 134,000 copies on its first day of release
