Susan Boyle to appear on jungle reality show

London (ANI): Britain's Got Talent's singing sensation Susan Boyle has been lined up for an appearance on the jungle show 'I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here' later this year. ITV bosses are looking into capitalising on the 48-year-old Scottish singer's worldwide fame, and she has been chosen for a starring role in the hit reality show after hosts Ant and Dec, both 33, put her name forward.

Bosses reckon Boyle would be perfect in the Aussie Outback and would pull in bumper ratings as millions of her fans tune in to watch her antics. And her global success, particularly in the States, could also widen the show's appeal and attract millions of viewers in America and Australia.

"Susan would be TV gold if she went in the jungle. She's the biggest celebrity of the year so far," the Daily Star quoted a show source as saying. "I don't think there's anyone in the country who doesn't know who she is. Having her in the jungle would be a massive boost, not to mention helping us attract audiences from around the world. Every one of those millions of people who logged on to the web to see her would go to our website to see what she's doing. If we sold advertising on the clips it'd be worth a fortune," the source stated.

But it is not just the prospect of millions in revenue that is making Boyle such a popular choice for a spot, as telly bosses think she would be a brilliant contestant in the outback. "Susan has got a great sense of humour which would be great to have in the jungle," the source said.

"There's such a fascination in what she's like and how she acts that I think not only would she do well, she could actually win. The British public love someone who is bonkers and funny. I think they would easily fall in love with her straight away," the source added.
