London
(ANI):
Singer
Cher
has
revealed
how
the
things
her
mother
and
grandmother
taught
her
greatly
influenced
her
life.
Cher,
64,
was
brought
up
by
her
mother
Georgia,
85,
and
in
her
45-years
of
show
business,
the
singer
revealed
that
her
childhood
influences
her
decisions.
“It
seems
strange
to
be
talking,
at
my
age,
about
what
my
mother
taught
me.
But
I
am
proud
to
have
such
a
strong
influence
from
both
my
mother,
Georgia,
and
my
grandmother,
Linda," the
Sun
quoted
her
as
saying.
“My
grandmother
was
only
14
when
she
had
my
mum,
who
in
turn
was
only
19
when
she
had
me.
It
was
sending
out
a
message,
from
an
early
age:
You
are
a
woman,
you
can
do
things.
She
always
said
that
you
celebrate
your
children
at
whatever
age
you
have
them.
Do
not
make
them
a
problem
-
make
them
an
advantage
to
your
life."
“I
had
my
first
child
when
I
was
22.
I
left
home
at
16
to
try
to
make
it
on
my
own,
with
my
mother's
blessing.
She
told
me
that
I
didn"t
need
to
make
a
lot
of
money
to
be
a
success.
I
could
be
an
artist,
a
success
in
my
own
right,
without
measuring
it
by
a
bank
balance.
It
was
as
if
to
say:
'You
can
live,
have
children,
be
confident,
be
gorgeous
-
do
what
you
like,
with
enthusiasm"."
“As
a
little
girl,
I
even
knew
my
great,
great
grandmother
on
my
father"s
side.
So
the
women
in
my
life
brought
so
much
to
me
and
I
still
cherish
that,"
she
stated.
