Cheryl Cole bans 'Girls Aloud' pals to see her in hospital

London (ANI): Malaria-stricken Cheryl Cole has banned her 'Girls Aloud" pals Kimberley Walsh and Nicola Roberts from visiting her in the hospital. The worried singer has refused to allow any visitors into her private hospital room other than mum Joan and close pal Derek Hough.

"Cheryl doesn't want people to see her as she is," the Sun quoted a source as saying. In fact, the 27-year-old singer has even put her divorce from love-rat footballer Ashley Cole on hold as she is too frail to meet lawyers or read documents.

'X Factor" judge Cheryl caught malaria on holiday in Tanzania with US dancer Derek, 25, and was rushed to hospital two weeks ago. Bed-ridden Cheryl has now been moved from the tropical diseases ward of a hospital in central London to a private room.

The source said: "She was delighted to get some privacy. She is still extremely frail and drifting in and out of sleep, but she has shown great signs of improvement."
