Cheryl Cole to star in The Beano

London (ANI): X Factor beauty Cheryl Cole has bagged a role in the hilarious comic strip adventure 'The Beano'. The singing sensation would be seen in cartoon form as the new singing sidekick of girl behaving badly 'Minnie the Minx.'

Cole got the role when Dundee-based publishers DC Thomson spotted her sporting a red and black striped outfit, designed by the late Alexander McQueen, in her video 'Fight for this love.'

"Minnie the Minx will be meeting Cheryl and Wayne Rooney in a run of stories that will coincide with the school summer holidays," the Daily Star quoted spokesman of Beano as saying.

"They are both hugely popular with readers and I'm sure fans will be thrilled at the prospect of them coming face to face with a national institution, in the shape of Minnie," he added.
