Devastated Cheryl Cole goes into hiding

London (ANI): Singer Cheryl Cole has reportedly gone into hiding amid pleas of her cheating husband Ashley to take him back. The Girls Aloud singer was said to have fled to France to work while dealing with her marriage split from the soccer ace.

The 26-year-old star was spotted in a disguise before she took a boat to a secret location. "She's not in a good way. She doesn't want to leave the house or be out in public," The News of the World quoted a source as saying. A source added: "Her friends are telling her to live her life. The public are behind her."

Cheryl was previously reported to have halted her divorce plans for six months.
