London
(ANI):
Music
mogul
Simon
Cowell
made
an
emotional
exit
from
US
talent
show
'American
Idol".
The
nasty
judge
turned
sweet
as
he
hugged
the
show"s
former
judge
Paula
Abdul
and
took
his
final
bow
on
the
show
after
nine
years,
reports
the
Daily
Express.
Speaking
on
the
occasion
Simon
Cowell
thanked
all
the
viewers
of
the
show
for
their
continuous
support.
"The
show
goes
forward,
it
will
be
different,
but
I
just
want
to
thank
you
from
the
bottom
of
my
heart
for
the
support,
the
fun
and
the
sense
of
humour,
" the
Herald
Sun
reports
Cowell
as
saying.
The
out-going
judge
also
spoke
about
his
replacement
in
the
judges
panel.
"When
everyone
asks
who
is
going
to
replace
me...the
truth
is,
you
guys
are
the
judge
of
this
show
-
and
you've
done
an
incredible
job
over
the
years.
It's
been
a
blast.
Thank
you,"
the
Herald
Sun
reports
Cowell
as
saying.
However,
in
the
episode,
the
music
mogul
looked
almost
tearful
as
he
was
serenaded
by
past
winners.
Cowell
decided
to
quit
to
bring
the
'X
Factor"
to
the
US
next
year.
