London (ANI): 'Telephone" hitmaker Lady Gaga has tested "borderline positive" for lupus. Results shows that the singer is currently not suffering from the condition but doctors has asked her to take care of her body to prevent any symptoms that may come up, reports The Daily Express.

The 'Poker Face" star underwent test for lupus, the disease that killed her aunt Joanne, after suffering a string of health problems in recent months. Gaga explains to host Larry King on his chat show, "Lupus is in my family and it is genetic."

She added: “My mother told me the other day that my fans were quite worried about me because I did talk about the fact that I was tested for lupus. The truth is I don't show any signs, any symptoms of lupus. But I have tested borderline positive for the disease."

She concluded saying: "As of right now I do not have it, but I have to take good care of myself."
