Leona Lewis caught in gangland gun drama

London (ANI): A quick coffee stop turned horrifying for singer Leona Lewis when she was caught in a gangland gun drama in Los Angeles. The X-factor winner was still in the car when a red Chevrolet pulled up in front and two men jumped out, one brandishing a gun in her direction. Then a pursuing police car screeched in.

The armed officers screamed for everyone to drop to the ground while they chased two men, believed to be local gangsters. However, they were arrested and dragged back to the police car. “She definitely had a narrow escape," the Daily Star quoted a friend as saying.

“She couldn"t believe what was happening right in front of her eyes. There was a minder with her in the car but she was concerned about her friend, who"d gone to get the coffee and had just come out of the shop when the cops arrived. It was terrifying. Even though she"s been in LA for a while, she"d never experienced anything with guns before," the friend added.
