Washington
(ANI):
Singer
Melanie
Chisholm
says
the
Spice
Girls
were
quite
"tame" as
compared
to
today's
girl
bands
which
are
overtly
"sexual".
The
35-year-old
former
Spice
Girl
finds
it
difficult
to
understand
why
they
were
branded
provocative
when
they
were
at
the
height
of
their
fame
in
the
90s,
because
present-day
girl
band
members
don
much
more
revealing
clothes
than
she
and
her
group
members
ever
did.
"It's
hilarious
because
we
were
criticised
for
being
provocative
or
wearing
revealing
clothes
a
decade
ago.
Just
look
at
girl
bands
now
-
they're
so
sexual.
We
were
tame
by
comparison," Contactmusic
quoted
Mel
C
as
saying.
