MJ's glove gets standing ovation at auctions sale

London (ANI): Legendary pop singer Michael Jackson"s Swarovski Crystal glove won a standing ovation at an auction in Las Vegas where it was sold for 128,000 pounds. The glove was the highlight of the Julien"s Auctions sale, which was sold on the first death anniversary of the King of Pop.

The Music Icons auction at the Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino was attended by a large number of people. Jackson's documents, drawings, clothing and furniture were the main attractions at the auction.

“It was amazing with interest from around the world and the crowd stood to its feet and cheered when Michael Jackson's white Swarovski Crystal glove from the Victory Tour sold. I've never seen anything like it," the Daily Express quoted auction house boss Darren Julien as saying.

Jackson's Victory Tour Jacket, was sold for 44,000 pounds, his Drawing of a Man went for 20,000 pounds, an autograph Jackson signed the day before his death raked in 14,000 pounds, and a Jackson Signed Beat-It Jacket fetched 88,000 pounds. Even Jackson's worn loafers sold for 60,000 pounds.
