Paula Abdul may join US X Factor

London (ANI): Singer Paula Abdul seems set to reteam with former American Idol colleague Simon Cowell for the U.S. version of The X Factor. Cowell made it known he hoped to see the actress on the judging panel when he takes his singing contest Stateside.

“I've been talking to Paula for a long time. It was always my intention in one way or another to carry on working with her," the Daily Star quoted him as telling the New York Post. And now, the leading pop TV lady has herself dropped hints she may join the talent show which is set to make its US debut next year.

She said: "I'm going back to my roots and doing a TV show that has something to do with my roots. I knew that I would not be able to say certain things. I want to be able to say everything right now, but I can't."
