Ronnie Wood gets thumbs up from girlfriend’s dad

London (ANI): Rolling Stones star Ronnie Wood is a happy man as the father of his new girlfriend has given his approval to their relationship. The 63-year-old, who split from 21-year-old Russian cocktail waitress Ekaterina Ivanova in December (09), has been dating polo coach Ana Araujo, 30, since early this year.

Manuel Pinto, 57, Araujo's father, has now revealed that he is happy that his daughter has found happiness with the ageing guitarist.

"My daughter Ana is wise and intelligent enough to make her own decisions. If she wants to go out with and even marry Ron Wood, I and her family support her. It doesn't matter if he is older than I am... We would like to meet Ronnie one day," the Daily Star quoted Pinto as telling the Daily Mail.
