Music runs in her blood, says Willow Smith

She is the youngest face to have hit the music scene in the United States of late and Willow Smith is soon turning out to be the child sensation of the country. The daughter of Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith was heard saying in a recent statement that she attributes her success to her parents and admits that daddy and mommy have been the biggest influences in her life, when it comes to music.

With popular parents to boast of, music runs in her blood. But little did anyone think that Willow Smith could become the most talked about singer at the age of 10! Though the girl had set foot in the entertainment industry as an actress and also won the 'Young Artist Award' back in 2007, her decision to launch her single 'Whip My Hair" in the fall of 2010 has paid off and how. Not only are people talking about her superb voice, but also her sense of fashion.

Speaking to the media, Willow Smith says that it was her mommy Jada Pinkett Smith who first got her acquainted with Billy Idol and therefore it is the master singer, who has always been her inspiration. Among the contemporary singers, Lady GaGa seems to be the favorite of young Willow.

At 10, Willow Smith is a superstar and she has also signed with Jay Z for her upcoming album.
