Amy Winehouse announces Brazil tour after two years break

London (ANI): Amy Winehouse has announced her plan to return to the stage after a two-year touring hiatus with four January shows in Brazil. After two years battling legal and personal issues, the pop and soul singer is scheduled to appear at three stops on Brazil's Summer Soul Festival: January 8 in Florianopolis, January 13 in Recife, and January 15 in Sao Paulo, reports the Independent.

In the middle of the festival, she is also scheduled to headline a January 11 show at the Arena HSBC in Rio de Janerio. Her last public performance was a four-song set in October to celebrate the launch of her Fred Perry fashion line. Winehouse also just released her first new track since her breakthrough album, 2006's 'Back to Black" - a track titled 'It's My Party' on the Quincy Jones compilation Q: Soul Bossa Nostra.

Winehouse rocketed to fame with the release 'Back to Black", which scooped five Grammy awards, but her creative output dried up while she had a well-documented battle with drugs. 'Back to Black" reached number one in album charts in 16 countries.
