Amy Winehouse apologises for canceling European tour

Singer Amy Winehouse has apologised to her fans for scraping two of her scheduled concerts in Europe, which were supposed to follow up the Serbian show. The Back to Black singer claims that she has heavily booed during a recent concert in Serbia that has made her unable to perform to the best of her ability.

In a press statement, Amy Winehouse' spokesperson said, “She would like to apologise to fans expecting to see her at the shows but feels that this is the right thing to do. Despite feeling sure that she wanted to fulfill these commitments, she has agreed with management that she cannot perform to the best of her ability and will return home."

According to reports, the Serbian concert was a scandal and a disaster. Amy Winehouse was displaying erratic behavior stumbling around the stage. She appeared to be drunk and failed to remember the lyrics of her songs. She repeatedly dropped her mics and at some points walked out of the stage. Many concertgoers walked out of the concert early in disappointment and anger.

Following the incident, Amy Winehouse has canceled two gigs, which were to take place in Istanbul on June 20 and in Athens on June 22. However, it is not clear whether or not she would attend the rest of her European tour.
