By Raymond Ronamai

Singer Amy Winehouse, who checked into The Priory Clinic for alcohol addiction recently, has checked out of the rehabilitation centre after a week of treatment. The “Rehab" singer, who has claimed to be drug-free for three years, will still be treated as an outpatient.

“She is looking forward to playing shows around Europe this summer and is raring to go. She sends a huge thanks to all her fans for their support," The Sun quoted the spokesman of the singer as saying.

Amy Winehouse has a history of drug addiction and heavy drinking and has been to rehabilitation centre quite a few times in the past. She shocked the onlookers recently by drinking Smirnoff before checking herself into The Priory Clinic.
