Cheryl Cole flaunts her blonde new hairdo

Girls Aloud singer Cheryl Cole, who has been keeping a low profile ever since she was sacked from US X Factor, finally made a public appearance yesterday (June 29), a day ahead of her birthday. She arrived at the American Embassy and surprised the onlookers with her blonde look in a new hairdo.

“Cheryl wants Friday to be her big return to the limelight, and she will be making a dramatic entrance.

"Her dress is all sorted, and she"s had her hair done especially. She"s in a great place, finally, and is ready to let her new hair down. Cheryl will put her credit card behind the bar – around £40,000 worth of champagne and spirits will be flowing through the night. She hasn"t had a drink in nearly three months and will be going for it on Friday. She"ll be the first on the dance floor and one of the last to leave. She really can"t wait and is determined to show people she"s happy and over the X Factor fiasco. Friday night is very much a case of out with the old and in with the new," Daily Mirror quoted a source close to the singer as saying.

“It will be a very glitzy occasion but in impeccable taste. Cheryl thought it would be a funny idea to have a blonde theme in light of her new hair," added the source.

Cheryl has send invitations to hundreds of people who are close to her. “You are invited to celebrate Cheryl"s birthday. Friday 1st July, 9pm till late" - reads the invitation. However, the singer will text message about the venue only tomorrow.
