After
a
break
of
almost
two
years,
Pop-Punk
veterans
Green
Day
have
recently
revealed
that
they
are
currently
working
on
a
new
album.
Green
Day
frontman
Billie
Joe
Armstrong
recently
said
that
the
band
had
a
good
time
jamming
and
that
they
have
come
up
with
many
new
songs.
He
tweeted,
“OK,
here's
the
scoop,
(Green
Day)
has
been
jamming
new
songs
everyday.
There's
a
tonne
of
new
songs.
The
direction
is
fresh
and
high
energy.
Feels
great,I
don't
want
to
give
away
too
much
but
just
know
that
me,
Mike
(Dirnt,
bass)
and
Tre
(Cool,
drums)
and
Jason
(White,
guitar)are
collaborating
and
having
the
best
time
playing
music.
And
that's
not
bullshit!!"
Their
previous
album
'21st
Century
Breakdown'
wasn't
as
successful
as
their
2004
album
'American
Idiot'.
