Howard Donald, Mark Owen quizzed by US customs

Singers Howard Donald and Mark Owen were reportedly held and quizzed by the US customs about their working visas. The Take That members were flying into Los Angeles to meet their bandmate Robbie Williams at his Hollywood home. But they were successful in convincing the airport officials that they were not going there to work.

According to sources, the Take That members was flying there Upper Class on Virgin Atlantic. They were caught by the airport officials when Howard Donald accidentally tried to jump the queue for immigration. The singers were pulled in for questioning because they had travelled without a working visa.

"The lads are often on the LA flight but this visit was exceptionally bad. Howard was on the receiving end of the worst of it. They thought he was pulling a fast one, coming in the US to work. It was a fraught few hours. Howard was knackered and could have done without the hassle. Mark got through unscathed but it started the trip in the wrong mood," the Sun quoted a source as saying.
