There
must
be
a
long
line
of
folks
waiting
for
a
call
from
television
reality
show
mogul
Simon
Cowell
to
join
the
judging
panel
of
the
US
version
of
the
X
Factor.
Jennifer
Lopez
got
the
opportunity
to
be
a
part
of
the
show
but
she
had
to
turn
it
down
for
American
Idol.
The
“Waiting
For
Tonight" singer
was
approached
to
join
the
judging
panel
of
the
X
Factor,
but
she
chose
to
judge
American
Idol,
as
she
thought
it
fitted
her
better.
She
has
reportedly
been
signed
for
$12m
to
judge
the
American
Idol,
alongside
Aerosmith's
frontman
Steven
Tyler
and
Randy
Jackson.
The
mother-of-two
is
however
not
sure
if
she
will
judge
the
show
next
year.
“I
don't
know
if
I
will
do
another
season.
I'm
taking
it
day
by
day
at
the
moment
and
we'll
see
what
happens.
I've
been
having
a
great
time,
I
can't
lie.
I'm
really
enjoying
it
and
having
fun
and
enjoying
working
with
the
contestants,"
Daily
Star
newspaper
quoted
her
as
saying.
