Katy Perry tops VMA nominations

Katy Perry has bagged maximum nominations for the MTV Video Music Awards. She got nine nominations while Adele and Kanye West got seven each. Her song “Last Friday Night" is up for Best Pop Video, “Teenage Dream" for Best Cinematography and “Firework" has been nominated for Best Female Video, Best Art Direction and Video of the Year awards. Her song “E.T" with Kanye West is up for Best Collaboration, Best Direction, Best Editing and Best Special Effects awards.

Katy is closely followed by Adele and Kanye West. Adele has got seven nominations in various categories including Video of the Year, Best Female Video and Best Pop Video. She got all the nominations for her hit number “Rolling In The Deep". Kanye West is also up for seven awards, including four with Katy Perry.
