Kelly Clarkson records a duet with Chris Daughtry

Singer Kelly Clarkson has reportedly recorded a duet with her fellow contestant on 'American Idol', Chris Daughtry. According to singer Richard Marx, Kelly-Chris' duet has been titled 'One More Yesterday', which has been written by Chris Daughtry, Jason Wade and Richard Marx.

The rumours about the duet between Kelly Clarkson and Chris Daughtry started making rounds in the year 2009. Earlier, they had teamed up for two different songs, but were scrapped due to some reasons. Now, in an interview with 95.5 PLJ, Richard Marx has confirmed that the former American Idol contestants have recently recorded a joint track.

However, Kelly and Chris' duet track 'One More Yesterday' will be included in Kelly's upcoming studio album. The American Idol winner will release the new album after September in 2011. On Facebook, she wrote, "I realize that is a long time but that's the best time to release it apparently so I'm sorry for the wait but I promise you it sounds great!"
