Lady Gaga stands up for her fan

Pop diva, Lady Gaga showed her good nature by defending a fan, after her over-protective bodyguard made an attempt to stop the exited fan from taking her pictures.

The 24-year-old star, after getting an award at the Annual Council of Fashion Designers, threw a lavish party afterwards to celebrate her achievement. The party was held at Manhattan's Standard Hotel that included guests such as Liv Tyler, Gerard Butler and Gaga's parents.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker was furious when one of her bodyguards assaulted an innocent fan, smashing his phone – just because he tried to take her picture. “One of her over-protective security guards... pushed the guy up the stairs, grabbed his phone and threw it... (Gaga said to him), 'What are you doing? Leave him alone.' (She) looked embarrassed and shook her head," a witness told New York Post column Page Six.
