Pop
singer
Lady
Gaga
had
taken
the
initiative
to
raise
relief
funds
to
provide
aid
to
the
victims
of
earthquake
and
tsunami
hit
Japan
by
designing
a
special
prayer
wristband.
And
the
American
pop
star
is
successful
in
her
attempt.
She
has
already
gathered
1.5
million
dollars
for
Japan
and
has
vowed
to
continue
helping
the
victims.
Lady
Gaga
is
the
first
American
star
to
step
to
provide
aid.
Her
request
to
her
fans
has
got
a
huge
response.
The
excited
popstar
has
posted
a
video
message
on
YouTube,
in
which
she
prays
for
Japan.
She
says,
"Konichiwa,
this
is
Lady
Gaga.
I
just
wanted
to
send
all
of
my
love
and
support
on
behalf
of
myself
as
well
as
monsters
from
around
the
world.
We
have
been
praying
and
thinking
of
you
all
week."
She
adds,
"I
want
you
to
know
that
you
can
always
call
on
me
for
help
and
we
have
already
been
doing
everything
that
we
can
to
send
relief
to
all
of
you.
We've
already
raised
1.5
million
dollars
selling
these
fashion
prayer
bracelets
that
we've
designed
in
the
Haus
Of
Gaga.
They
say
'We
pray
for
Japan'
in
both
English
and
in
Japanese.
We
want
to
raise
even
more
money
and
send
as
much
as
we
can
over
to
help
you.
We
will
be
praying.
I
love
you
and
I'm
praying
for
you."
However,
the
'Born
This
Way'
singer
had
taken
to
her
Twitter
page
to
request
her
fans
for
donation
immediately
after
the
devastating
earthquake
and
tsunami
hit
Japan
on
11
March.
She
had
posted
a
picture
of
the
white
rubber
prayer
band,
which
has
a
message
'We
Pray
for
Japan'
in
both
English
and
Japan.
