Will Lauren Alaina win American Idol title?

Scotty McCreery has advantage over his competitor Lauren Alaina at the on-going American Idol. However, Alaina came up with a superb performance last night (May 24), earning a standing ovation. Now, talks are doing the rounds that she would walk away with the American Idol title.

Alaina's rendition of Kristy Lee Cook's track “Like My Mother Does" won praises from the judges. “With that song you may have just won," declared Jennifer Lopez, while Steven Tyler said, “You are it in my eyes." Randy Jackson did something different by giving her a standing ovation.

The wind seems to be blowing in Alaina's favour as of now but Scotty is not out of the competition because he has been consistent throughout the show. You will come to know the winner tonight (May 25). Watch out for American Idol finale show!
