The
representative
of
Simon
Cowell
has
dismissed
the
online
reports
that
Paula
Abdul
and
Cheryl
Cole
have
signed
in
for
the
US
version
of
'The
X
Factor'.
He
has
said
that
the
music
mogul
is
still
in
talks
with
Abdul
and
Cheryl,
but
he
has
not
determined
the
judges
panel
for
the
US
version
of
his
show.
It
was
reported
earlier
that
Simon
Cowell
admitted
he
has
picked
Abdul
and
Cole
to
fill
the
vacant
positions
in
US
X
Factor.
But
his
rep
has
now
shot
down
the
reports.
"It's
still
playing
out.
Nothing
is
set,
and
Paula
is
one
of
many
people
Simon
is
talking
to.
He's
said
the
same
thing
many
times,
including
on
the
radio
last
week.
There's
nothing
new," The
Hollywood
Reporter
quotes
Cowell's
rep
as
saying.
However,
Paula
Abdul
is
the
former
American
Idol
colleague
of
Simon
Cowell,
while
Cheryl
Cole
has
served
as
a
judge
alongside
for
the
UK
X
Factor.
Cowell
has
reportedly
had
his
sights
set
on
them
and
he
began
discussions
with
the
two
as
early
as
October.
George
Michael,
Pussycat
Dolls
singer
Nicole
Scherzinger
and
Mariah
Carey
are
also
considered
as
potential
judges
on
the
Fox's
singing
competition.
