Sheryl Crow hides her love life for kids

Singer Sheryl Crow is trying to be a good mother. She has made her relationship with musician Doyle Bramhall public, but she is taking it slow because she doesn't want her adopted sons, three-year-old Wyatt and 12-month-old Levi, go through heartbreak in case they break up.

“I"ve been in the situation where I"ve been involved with people and their kids, and if the relationship doesn"t work out, it"s heartbreak. So I"m keeping the relationship friend-based when we"re around the kids. Luckily, we have a great foundation, having known each other for 15 years," Prevention magazine quoted her as saying.

Sheryl Crow made her relationship with Doyle public last week when they attended the Society of Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center's spring ball in New York. She broke up with cyclist Lance Armstrong in 2006 after dating for three years.
