Steven Tyler fulfills wish of a dying fan

By Raymond Ronamai

Rockstar Steven Tyler has a loving heart. On learning that a die-hard fan of his wanted to meet him, he made a video call to the man, who was on his deathbed. The fan passed away a few hours after seeing his idol speak to him.

Lawrence Ori, a die-hard fan of the Aerosmith, had being dreaming of meeting the band's lead singer Steven Tyler. The rocker fulfilled his dream by calling him via Skype earlier this month and spoke to him over a computer screen. Lawrence couldn't speak or move, as he was suffering from a degenerative condition called supernuclear palsy, but listened to his idol.

“Lawrence? This is Steven. I'm coming to you from L.A. and I'm so glad to meet you," Steven told his fan via Skype. “You hold on, Lawrence. I love you man. Great to meet you," he added before putting off the call.

The phone call was arranged by the Passages Hospice Dream Foundation, a charity dedicated to fulfilling the final wishes of hospice patients.
